Dr. Halver received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Washington State University for a lifetime of work in nutritional biochemistry.
He is on the Board of Directors of Delta Chi fraternity.
Dr. Halver has funded scholarships at both Washington State University (in Pullman, WA) and the University of Washington (in Seattle, WA) for Graduate studies in nutrition.
